Trail: Lake Park in the Lost Creek Wilderness

Trailhead Location: The trailhead you will need to find is called Goose Creek Trailhead. From the town of Deckers (North of Woodland Park) head West on Highway 126 for a little under 3 miles. Turn South onto a dirt road which heads towards Cheesman Reservoir. From this point follow the signs to Goose Creek Trailhead.

Hike Description: Hike down from the trailhead to a stream, cross it, and take a left. Follow the trail as it weaves back and forth across the stream up Hankins Gulch. At the intersection at Hankins Pass there will be a sign. Turn right to reach Lake Park. The trail will climb up to a saddle then down into Lake Park. There are great views from here. You can camp here.
